Position Description:

Okta is seeking a Senior Manager of Enablement Platforms to manage a portfolio of technology projects, communication vehicles, and internal events. In this role you'll support the WorldWide Field Operations team which includes roughly 1,000 people across sales, marketing, sales engineers, customer first, and partners. The ideal candidate should be an ambitious and forward thinking someone who continuously sets the bar higher with each program they run.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with members of the team to assess our technology stack and run successful evaluations

  • Ensure that Okta is the best practice for how our enablement platforms are implemented and maintained, including training and governance

  • Map our content library ensuring that it is well organized, relevant, prescriptive, and easily consumed

  • Drive alignment and delight our audiences with timely, crisp field communications, and world-class event experiences (e.g. enablement calls, bootcamp, qbrs, sales kickoff)

  • Pull together content from stakeholders and review messaging for field communication

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of field enablement investments and programsKPIs measured monthly and basic analysis

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Ability to drive cross-team initiatives and gather stakeholder buy-in

  • Execution-oriented and possess the ability to drive decisions

  • Experience with enablement platforms; e.g. LMS, CMS, Digital Adoption Software, Marketing Automation, Wiki, Video Platform, Asana etc.

  • Strong product marketing skill set is particularly helpful for selling idea and field communication

  • 10+ years in program management, product marketing, sales enablement or equivalent role

  • Proven leadership and direct management experience

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

About the Team: In this role you'd be a peer to the Sales, Technical, and Partner Enablement leads, supporting their needs and those of their constituents. This would start as a team of three with two direct reports; one to manage events and another serve as an administrator for our enablement platforms. This role would partner closely with IT to take advantage of their expertise and resources, but we'll keep many of the daily tasks associated with successful adoption close to the business.
