The Global Loyalty & Benefits organization is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager

  • Digital Product Management to help drive the transformation of our APIs.  As the Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with business and technology partners to shape the product strategy and roadmap.  The Senior Product Manager will lead a team of product owners who will be responsible for enhancing and modernizing our loyalty APIs and will consult with business and channel partners to discover use cases and API requirements. A key part of this role will be to build and foster a culture of agility and product ownership in close partnership with technology and business teams.

The Global Loyalty & Benefits Platform is part of the larger Enterprise Platforms Technology unit where product and engineering resources have been organizationally brought together to improve speed to market and further unlock value across core capabilities. Our team enables many of the key product features used by our Cardmembers every day; such as earning & redeeming their points, accessing lounges & receiving the benefits from elite hotel and airline guest status. As an API domain, we build high performing APIs that power the world's best loyalty & benefit experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating and building consensus across multiple teams to create product vision and solutions

  • Consulting with key business partners and stakeholders to articulate outcomes and expectations, tie initiatives to key metrics, and drive consensus around Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definitions

  • Partnering with execution teams to ensure delivery of consistently high-quality, timely feature launches

  • Coaching and mentoring team of product owners

  • Weighing initiatives against opportunity costs and feasibility to build product roadmaps

  • Building and fostering a culture of agility and product ownership in close partnership with technology and business teams

  • Facilitating resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlog

  • Developing a robust understanding of loyalty and API domain as well as competitive landscape

  • Deep engagement and consultation with various architects, products owners, and business teams to understand current and future needs

  • Full participation in and support of agile practices and ceremonies

  • Communicate and build consensus across multiple teams in creating solutions.

  • Collaborate with other team members to define business requirements to meet the end users' needs

  • Provide vision to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements

  • Be an active team member in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

  • Please note, salary increases in case of a lateral move are provided only on an exception basis and in line with compensation guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working on/with software development teams

  • Basic technical understanding of APIs

  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with experience in driving innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization, including external partners

  • Familiarity with agile and scrum software development methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage, influence, and inspire collaboration and alignment

  • Experience working with global teams across different timezones

  • Problem solving, project management and analytical skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks

  • High degree of personal organization

  • Shows individual initiative, proactiveness and personal accountability

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required (or comparable experience). Master's degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Rally, Confluence, Gitlab/Github, Postman preferred

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
