As a Digital Electronics Engineering Manager you will be responsible for delivering In-house Low Voltage developed electronics for high volume, EV applications.

  • Low cost, ultra-reliable electrical architecture for a next generation EV.

  • Developing electrical requirements for internal systems teams as well as suppliers.

  • Work with wiring team to optimize harness for cost and reliability (i.e. EMI).

Electric Vehicle Digital Design (EVDD) is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up breakthrough electric vehicles. What you'll be able to do:

  • Manage a team of experienced hardware schematic capture engineers.

  • Develop EMI, drop-out, capacitance, communications specifications

  • Specify or design custom ECU connectors

  • Work with wiring team to develop pin-outs and device transmittals

  • Help design vehicle wire harnesses, including twisted wire, shielded, bundles, EMI, etc for minimal cost and ultra high reliability.

  • Help perform FTA, FMEDA, circuit simulation analysis
