The Senior Manager Digital and Social Marketing works with the Director of Brand Marketing to develop national and local digital and social marketing objectives and strategies that align to both short-term and long-term brand objectives. This role assists in coordinating efforts of agencies, the Media Center of Excellence, franchisees, and other partners to implement digital and social marketing plans and measure their impacts on business KPIs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Brand Strategy
Develops multi-channel digital campaigns, integrate brand initiatives and measures analytics of holistic strategic effort.
Plans future programs based on analysis and projected results.
Reviews analysis of campaign metrics to identify and derive key insights regarding trends and recommends strategies to maximize results.
Facilitates integrations across traditional and digital channels.
Digital, Social and Mobile Planning, Creative and Media Ownership
Leads team of internal and external partners in development and implementation of digital, social, and mobile marketing campaigns.
Maps customer journey in digital, social and mobile spaces for core customer segments.
Takes strategic ownership of digital media including social, Display and SEM.
Collaborates with internal and external partners to develop national and local social content.
Leads creative development and publishing of all digital assets.
Prepares activation briefs to support digital brand initiatives.
Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Performs continual enhancements to and maintenance of pearlevision.com and affiliated sites.
Oversees local listings network.
Partner on SEO optimizations.
Franchise Digital Support
Develops and executes strategies for enhancements of local franchise microsites.
Plans future versions and enhancements to create turnkey digital franchise solutions.
Plans and develops content updates to local marketing web interface.
Integrates internal and external feedback to enhance utilization of Balihoo platform.
Field Marketing Senior Manager Manager Support including:
Web and social media support for Franchisees
Planning social media/digital training for Franchisees
Franchise Facebook Places pages
Overall social media training
Digital campaign performance analysis (ROI).
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
7+ years digital marketing experience in agency or brand role
Retail and/or franchise organization experience preferred
Ability to think strategically and creatively
Experience working with internal and external partners across multiple disciplines
Technical knowledge of websites and digital advertising methods
Excellent soft leadership skills and ability to influence others
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills
Proven project management and multi-tasking skills
Understanding of media planning principles and core marketing concepts
Understanding of consumer research methodology and types
