ABOUT THIS TEAM

The DC Facilities team plays a business critical role ensuring distribution centers remain operational and in complete compliance with local regulations, statutes and ordinances. Facilities is responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment &systems, powered user-operated equipment and the overall upkeep of lululemon's distribution centers across North America and Australia. This team works closely with equipment and construction vendors along with internal teams including DC Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Safety and Distribution Excellence.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Daily communication and alignment with Facilities teams and DC leadership across 6 North American and 1 Australian distribution center to ensure all facilities are operating as expected.

  • Successfully execute action items tied to a $26M portfolio of DC S.I. projects for 2020, including new facility start-ups.

  • Be an innovator, anticipate future business needs and strategically build plans to meet those needs.

  • Work closely with OSHA (United States) and Ministry of Labor (Canada).

  • Oversee building projects, renovations, refurbishments, repairs and installations. Responsible for all equipment preventative maintenance, repairs and uptime.

  • Point person for vendors, contractors and local regulatory agencies.

  • Travel averaging 25% may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ Years of facilities maintenance experience in a warehouse, factory or distribution center environment.

  • 8+ Years of experiencing leading facilities technicians. Multi-site leadership experience is preferred.

  • Expertise in material handling equipment including powered conveyors, sortation systems, warehouse control systems and PLCs.

  • Experience with powered user-driven equipment including high-bay pickers, reach trucks and pallet jacks.

  • Previous responsibility and accountability for creating, managing and successful execution of Facilities budgets.

  • Experience managing preventative maintenance and parts maintenance programs, including sourcing and ordering replacement parts.
