Fountain Valley, CAPurpose
The PLM department is responsible for sales performance at a national/regional/market level, inventory levels/mix, product/pricing/incentive competitiveness, marketing effectiveness, region/dealer engagement levels, competitor activity, and segment dynamics. The key mission is to achieve revenue share objectives and provide strategic direction on strategies that optimize sales and profitability. This role will support the following:

Enhance the speed of data analytics across all carlines to optimize business performance.
Support the creation of all reporting.
Led the creation of all ad hoc studies/presentations for senior management.

Major Responsibilities
Elevate department big data analytics and data visualization capabilities.
Elevate templates to ensure the most relevant topics are prioritized.
Lead cross-carline activities across all 3 vehicle teams.
Proactively meet with vehicle teams to understand needs and develop new tools/dashboards to improve the speed and quality of data analysis.
Collaborate with Sales Analysis & Forecasting and Incentives teams.
Proactively develop and manage data flow to and from Regional Field teams.

Major Responsibilities (continued)
Analyze data relative to performance objectives, develop actionable recommendations to optimize performance, and present to department/executive management.
Develop new methods for pulling together data from multiple data sources to facilitate the development of comprehensive business optimization strategies.
Collaborate with all departments for annual Business Plan development objective setting and quarterly reporting.
Support evolving EV space with new techniques.
Manage department budget (development, Prophix input, liaison with Finance).
Manage/coach/develop two direct report(s).

Authority
Develop business case for performance improvement recommendations.
Manage cross-functional teams and projects.

Education
~ Bachelor's degree required.~ Master's degree a plus

Related Experience
Eight or more years of professional experience at a manufacturer or distributor of consumer products with direct data analysis responsibilities (business analytics, data science, planning, pricing, and/or incentives).
Extensive data analysis experience and data visualization expertise required.
Automotive industry experience preferred.

Skills/Knowledge
Ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make a case for change leading to action.
Expertise with business intelligence software like Tableau and database management with SQL.
Expertise with statistical programming in Python or R preferred.
