The Senior Manager, Creative Design, isa creative soul with strategic communications chops who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Join the Global Communications team at Walmart and make an impact not only on the future of retail, but on topics and issues the whole world is watching. This role will help lead both day-to-day and longer-term creative projects from ideation to (pixel-perfect) delivery by providing art direction on creative that flows through the Digital Strategy Brand Engagement team. This person should love to coach and mentor designers as much as partnering with fellow team members and internal clients to create work for internal and external audiences that is compelling, consistently on-brand while maintaining exceptional creative standards. Collaboration, teamwork and creative passion are paramount for this role. This role calls for a natural leader who can play an active role in brainstorming sessions and expressing creative rationale confidently and with executive presence. The role will have you thinking on your feet every day, pivoting and multi-tasking fluidly. When needed, this person may take a more hands-on role in the design and establishing the conceptual and stylistic vision. Work will include content creation for a variety of digital and social platforms and channels, brand identity work, campaign concepting and execution, infographics and more.
You'll make an impact by:
Supporting all communication programs and initiatives according to industry best practices by designing, developing, and editing creative content and concepts for communication
Identifying and implementing new and innovative communication design ideas by staying up-to-date on the latest visual design techniques, creative hardware, and software trends to recommend changes as necessary to leadership
Evaluating content and design for consistency, enforcing corporate style and branding and assisting the team on design work
Managing the overall creative vision, strategy, and design for projects
Applying your own technical design expertise experience to coach creatives; assigning duties, building a team-based work environment

You own a killer portfolio of work.
You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in design, graphic or multimedia design.
You have bonus experience with any of the following: illustration, motion, video production, photography or copywriting.
You have proven experience managing multiple deadlines simultaneously and strong organizational and project management skills.
You are a student of trends in social, culture and technology, and delight in finding inventive uses of media to tell stories.
