Job Responsibilities:

• Strategy Implementation

• Leading and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, procedures and policies on philanthropic giving, employee volunteering, and community relations. With the support of your team drive the evolution of TruStage's CSR function into alignment with the corporate strategy and drive systems change in our community work. Actively work to integrate the concepts of equity and systemic change into the CSR strategy and policies.

• TruStage Foundation

• Support the President of the Foundation and Foundation board members as they shape and make decisions on the company's philanthropic efforts. Lead and manage the TruStage Foundation portfolio including annual grant planning; design and implement a community grant program; engage with potential grantees on funding opportunities; encourage strategic partnership and collaboration throughout the community; and work with the Foundation board leadership to design, facilitate board meetings, and facilitate grant making.

• Community Giving Campaign

• Lead, oversee, and increase engagement in TruStage's annual employee giving campaign.

• Employee Engagement

• Develop and manage programs for employees for volunteerism and community involvement. Lead employee volunteer activities in all corporate locations including placement of executive staff on community boards, development of teambuilding/community service projects for TruStage departments, tutor/mentor programs with area schools and community centers.

• Community relations and partnerships

• Direct an effective community engagement strategy for TruStage that increases employee engagement with our communities, fosters authentic connections and relationships between TruStage leaders and our local communities, and increases awareness of TruStage in our communities. Establish, build, and maintain trusting relationships with community leaders and key stakeholders.

• Social impact measurement

• Establish and implement a social impact measurement framework for the work of the CSR team.

• Fiscal management and oversight

• Oversee and manage TruStage's Foundation budget; working with our investments team stay abreast of and communication with the Foundation board regarding the investments and investment strategy; and lead and monitor community relations budgets.

• Lead and manager CSR team

• Manage and develop CSR talent to help to grow, thrive and be key TruStage community ambassadors internally and externally. Help team CSR learn and understand the connection between the day-to-day CSR work and the overall strategic objectives of TruStage to help drive excellence and cultivate a high-performing team. Establish accountability measures to track profess towards goals, monitor and regularly evaluation progress.

Job Requirements:

• 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, community relations, philanthropy, or similar roles within a Corporate or Government industry.

• 5 years of leadership and management experience in Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, community relations, philanthropy, or similar roles within medium to large organizations.

• Residing in Madison, WI or surrounding areas. Required attendance to various community events on evenings/weekends

• Experience in effectively leading, developing, and promoting talent

• Demonstrated experience effectively working collaboratively across the nonprofits, private and public sectors.

• Demonstrated experience working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Demonstrated experience, skills and knowledge in racial equity, community engagement and leadership development.

• Demonstrated experience working effectively with a board of directors, C-suite executives and key public officials

• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a large budget.

• Demonstrated experience in increasing employee volunteerism and giving back

• Experience in managing a diverse and creative group of individuals and effectively leading change.

• Demonstrated ability to translate TruStage's vision and strategy and galvanize teams to execute.

• Experience in enterprise-wide strategic planning and implementation related to community engagement and employee engagement.

• A successful track record in implementing strategy-wide, setting priorities, and managing multiple projects to achieve individual and organizational goals.

• Strategic, enterprise-minded thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to drive team excellence.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly and work effectively as a member of a team.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

• Experience with external, executive and internal communications as well as project/event management.

• Ability to establish and maintain trusting and effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals.

• Can operate at multiple levels - can operate at a strategic big picture level and has the curiosity to understand, coach and manage the fine details.

• Ability to coach and support senior leaders as spokespersons and to provide staff leadership and supervision.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
