Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

PROS is leading the shift to modern commerce, helping competitive enterprises create a personalized and frictionless buying experience across every customer channel. The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, will be a key marketing leader in maintaining and growing that leadership position. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Marketing, the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, will help elevate our brand and profile among top-tier media, C-suite executives, and industry influencers. We are looking for someone who is an excellent writer, has a solid understanding of the enterprise applications and technology space, and can create company narratives that resonate with business audiences and reflect our leadership position in the market.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and storyteller, with proven success in driving coverage among business, financial and mainstream media (WSJ, NYT, Fortune, etc.). This position is highly visible and in-demand to be successful you need to be a self-starter, critical thinker, hands-on doer, and team player.

A Day in the Life of the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

  • About the role:

  • Develop corporate and business media strategies and narratives, working closely with our internal team and external PR agency, to maximize coverage in top-tier business, financial and mainstream media

  • Lead PROS' business media strategy and outreach

  • Write and edit clean copy for all corporate communications initiatives

  • Working with our IR agency, Lead communications efforts for investor relations initiatives

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with key business and financial media stakeholders and influencers

  • Secure broadcast and business press coverage for PROS

  • Create, edit, and distribute company-focused news releases

  • Lead potential crisis communication and reputation management initiatives

  • Be a key stakeholder and communicator in PROS' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives

  • Work in tandem with executives, marketing, and media spokespeople on establishing and proliferating a unique corporate point-of-view in a noisy market

Required Qualifications - About you:

We are looking for candidates who possess the combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:

  • 7-10 years PR or Corporate Communications experience

  • Mix of agency and in-house experience

  • Strong and existing relationships with business press

  • Highly driven - enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
