The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description
Cox Automotive is hiring a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to join our team! The Senior Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for aligning the internal communication and engagement goals and objectives of enterprise Sales and Performance Management leadership with those of the business and other key stakeholders. At the direction of enterprise Sales and Performance Management senior leadership and the Senior Director of Sales Readiness, this critical position will serve as a liaison between Sales and Performance Management leadership and boundary partners to shape and deliver internal strategic communication and engagement plans in support of operational and go-to-market initiatives. The individual in this role must have the ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels within the organization. Success in this role hinges on the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence and attention to detail. Additionally, the ability to effectively lead and influence is critical given that this position will operate in a highly-matrixed internal environment.
Responsibilities:
Consult with enterprise Sales and Performance Management senior leadership and boundary partners to assess, prioritize, and align against internal team communication and engagement needs.
Liaise with internal boundary partners to co-develop plans, tactics, and messaging that deliver operational and go-to-market information to enterprise Sales and Performance Management audiences via preferred - and appropriate - channels.
Ensure cohesive and aligned messaging, planning, and tactics across enterprise Sales and Performance Management leadership levels (e.g., SVP to VP, VP to AVP, etc.).
Shape the approach to messaging, sequencing, and timing of enterprise Sales and Performance Management internal communication and engagement activities.
Communicate proactively to internal clients and boundary partners to manage expectations, timelines, and logistics.
Review and edit internal communication and engagement messaging and content to achieve desired senior leadership objectives and outcomes.
Lead the review and approval process of messaging and content with senior Sales and Performance Management leaders and other key stakeholders.
Build and maintain internal communications and engagement project plans and collision calendar(s) to proactively manage timelines and dependencies and ensure smooth and on-time execution.
Leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback from enterprise Sales and Performance Management leadership and team members to inform internal communication and engagement priorities and continuously improve messaging and content.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years of experience, a Ph.D. and 3 years of experience in a related field, or 12 years of experience in a related field
Excellent communication (oral and written) presentation skills.
Experience building consensus across groups of stakeholders.
Solid organizational skills, including basic project management and coordination, ability to adhere to deadlines, multitask, and overcome obstacles when required.
Work well under time-frame pressure.
Previous experience with the shaping and execution of leadership town halls, all hands, etc.
Preferred Education & Certifications:
BS/BA in communications.
Experience with EmailOpen (or similar marketing/communications platform).

Capability to facilitate effectively.
