Job Position: The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance for the Greenville facility will play a critical role in increasing profits and cash flow for the business. This position partners with the Commercial and Business Management Team to provide analytic support for pricing and negotiation decisions. This person will also partner with the Commercial Finance organization to develop key metrics for the business, including Sales to Revenue conversions, meaningful KPI's, and forecasting and tracking. The successful candidate will combine strong data analytics with market knowledge to drive our medium to long term strategic goals.
Full cost ownership of all finance activities for the Commercial Operations activities including Sales, Marketing and the Business Management functions
Act as a business partner to the Commercial Team, combining both support and challenge
Drive profit maximization through profit and loss evaluation and providing key inputs to negotiating parameters
Partner closely with Business Management and Contracts team on Master Service Agreement (MSA) terms including cost modeling, analytics and metrics
Support BU Finance leaders in updating sales to revenue data and participate in the BU planning process
Provide analytics supporting cost vs. market data; identify opportunities to reduce cost or improve margin
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to include both financial risk and business performance risk
Develop and present financial plans and results to division leadership team
Set the example of continuous process improvement
Manage billing services for the Greenville site by providing leadership to the billing services team, improving and automating processes to maximize contract adherence, profitability and cash flow
Strong conceptual and analytical orientation, as well as creative and unstructured problem solving skills, to be able to evaluate problems and concepts from different perspectives; use data to identify key issues/opportunities and arrive at sound and logical solutions; experience preparing strategic and financial models, and identifying areas of process improvement
Strong, persuasive communication skills to present analytical and technical information, relate well to all levels of the organization, influence others to move in a certain direction, and express ideas clearly and concisely to drive tactical initiatives downstream
Strong results orientation
Ability to champion ideas via fact-based analysis and reasoned judgment to optimize business results
Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance field
7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical related field
