The position will provide accounting, financial planning, forecasting, strategic planning and financial analytical business support for the Specialty Brands ARD Business Unit. This includes monitoring business performance, preparation and analytical review and analysis of actual results, preparation and analytical review of near term and longer term forecasts, and preparation of individual brand product line financial performance.
Ownership of the Specialty Brands ARD Operating expense budgets. Responsibilities include: preparing and reviewing journal entry support and preparing account reconciliations and support in compliance with company journal entry and account reconciliation policies. Performing close analysis of actual to budget and latest estimate; identifying key drivers of the variance. Preparation of schedules to support external and internal audit reviews.
Reporting and presenting results to business partners.
Submission of monthly rolling forecast, quarterly LE's and budget.
Ability to perform detail analysis and summarize key insights for business and financial management to support and influence business decisions.
Develop good working relationship as financial partner with the VP of sales, sales management, VP of marketing, marketing directors, and director sales operations.
Create innovative alternative recommendations for more cost effective methods to meet the same objectives.
Provide business support & advice with focus on financial accountability and controls.
Train non-financial business partners on the specific financial concepts they need to fulfill the fiscal responsibilities of their positions.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as needed.
Bachelor of Science Degree Accounting/Finance Major required.
CPA or MBA preferred
A minimum 5 years of relevant and functional experience.
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry practices, products, and markets.
PC skills including working knowledge of: Hyperion, SAP, and advanced excel functions.

Strong time management skills and effectively plan and organize workload.

This position reports to the Brands Finance Director
This position will interact with VP of Sales, Sales Management, Marketing Directors/Product Managers, Sales Operations, Corporate FP&A, and Controllership.
