Develops and manages strategic communications across the business by consulting with senior company leadership and executives and participating in cross-functional teams to determine appropriate communication strategy and evaluate business needs and desired outcomes; ensuring continuity of business plans; serving as a key stakeholder and as a communication subject matter expert in Change, Training, and Communications initiatives; drafting, designing, reviewing, and editing communications and presentations; advising on the creation of communication elements related to the divisional plan; and developing and executing plans to distribute communications. Identifies and implements new and innovative communication strategies and tools by staying current on industry best practices and innovation; researching conflicting current, past, or future messaging and approaches to identify potential risks; determining the most effective methods of communication; overseeing the implementation of social media and digital communication formats and tools; and influencing global internal communications functions. Evaluates and ensures the effectiveness of Human Resources Optimization (HRO) internal and external communication plans and projects by discussing program initiatives with other company organizations to increase awareness and understanding; consulting with stakeholders to gain feedback on previous communications; identifying and evaluating potential communication risk and improvement opportunities; and developing strategies to improve overall HRO communication efficiency and quality.
