How will you make an impact?
The Cell Therapy application group is looking for an exceptional person who is proficient in a variety of cell biology related techniques, from isolation to engineering, expansion to analysis. We are looking for someone dedicated to make a positive impact in Cell therapy by developing new innovative cell therapy manufacturing systems that will enable our customers to develop the therapies of tomorrow and make them accessible to all. We are looking for an individual who is talented scientifically, has extensive biological experience, has a strong work ethic a sense of urgency and has the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team and manage a large number of external collaborations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, independence, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
What will you do?
Lead a group of application scientists to develop workflow solutions related to cell therapy manufacturing.
Integrate platforms and reagents into an automated solution, working closely with process and software engineers
Manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables.
Give customer presentations and manage collaborations at a technical level
Develop Scale up protocol for different bioreactors (Wave, Spinners, others)
Launch product using a gated approach
Support process transfer to customers
Author technical documents and PPT presentation
How will you get here?
Demonstrated experience with the development of bio-processes for cell therapy preferred.
Experience in Design of Experiments and statistical analysis.
Experience with analytical techniques preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work across multiple projects.
Self-starter with strong work ethic.
Must have excellent organizational, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to identify strategic opportunities, set aggressive objectives, and drive key business priorities.
Willingness to do what needs to be done in a dynamic environment
Experience developing and presentation materials for sales training, customer interaction and executive presentations.
