As a Senior Manager in our Human Services Transformation group possible responsibilities could include:

  • Act as the Lead Project manager for managing the complete lifecycle of a ~$35 MM annual government contract project

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day technical operations and maintenance aspects of project for all the threads

  • Review progress and status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, issues and develop resolutions to meet quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Build and nurture relationship of trusted advisor with the client leadership

  • Provide updates and present topics to client executive leadership

  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas

  • Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules

  • Coach, mentor and guide junior project members.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of consulting experience within Gov't Health & Human Services

  • 8+ years of experience with health human services policy and mandates

  • 3+ years of experience at a supervisory or management level

  • 3+ years of relevant consulting experience, aligning IT systems with organization business processes

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
