This position will play a key role within the Business Strategy division for the Hyundai Motor North America Regional HQ ('HMNA' or 'NA Region') and will be instrumental in managing Supply Chain, Production, Business Planning, Reporting and Process Improvement across the North American organization (USA, Canada, and Mexico) for the Hyundai and Genesis brands. This is a unique opportunity for individuals interested in broadening their career experience on an international scale.
The Business Strategy division will have exposure to the operations of manufacturing organizations in Americas (e.g. Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant in America).
This role will work in conjunction with executive leadership, the Business Strategy division evaluates and recommends actions that improve the organization in a wide range of areas including business operations, communications, change management, performance management, and others.

Major Responsibilities
Support Sales & Supply Chain governance meetings with team to provide all supply related issues and plans with sales subsidiaries and HMNA executives.
Collaborate with HMC HQ and HMMA on production/shipment planning and observe any potential issue to minimize business operational impact.
Support vehicle and parts planning and allocation for Hyundai and Genesis vehicles through coordination with Regional planning team and D&I, and follow up with HMC and HMMA.
Support mix management activities to optimize sales and profits.
Generate report and analysis of monthly results of order/production/shipment and sales to HMNA executive team.

Major Responsibilities (continued)
Support overall business plan of HMNA HQ, in consideration of production capacity and production mix in close collaboration with HMC HQ.
Support the development of the necessary infrastructure (procedures, technology, vendor management) and leverage existing internal tools and systems, to manage key projects.
Actively engage with internal and external customers during complex/difficult situations working collaboratively to resolve or identify appropriate actions.
Provide support for other ad-hoc projects as needed and manage the day-to-day actions that enable accomplishment of the above.

Authority
Responsible for supporting and making recommendations to the Head of the Business Planning in making significant decisions in all areas of the operation.

Education
~ Bachelor's degree required.~ Master's degree a plus

Related Experience
Eight or more years of relevant experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in automotive with a focus on planning, strategy, or performance management.

Skills/Knowledge
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop presentations for executive management consumption.
Strong sense of numeric planning and analysis.
Excellent skills for meeting presentation and delivering storylines to executives.
Proficient with PC applications.
Comfortable communicating with colleagues whose secondary language is English.
SAP, SAC, Tableau proficiency is preferred.
Korean language competence is a plus.
