What Will You Do
The Sr. Manager of Business Operations & Strategic Planning is a key leadership role with significant visibility across our portfolio of businesses. The team is looking for a strategic thinker and proactive executioner to help transform and scale our Data Center Networking business. The ideal candidate will partner with the organization's senior leaders and the broader x-functional teams to plan and operationalize key Business Operations processes.
You will lead cross-functional special project teams to identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to accelerate action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management.
The Sr. Manager of Business Operations is highly visible and plays a critical role in Run the Business, including:
Owns and orchestrates key Business Operations process such as QBRs, LRSPs, Annual Plans and other Corporate activities
Driving strategic initiatives, business and portfolio planning, business management processes and operations deliverables.
Accountability for visibility to business and operational performance and serves as the primary liaison for other internal business groups. Ability to drive Strategic & tactical roadmap dependency interlocks across Cisco.
Responsibility for implementing the "operating engine", driving process excellence, management reporting (KPIs) and visibility to priorities to improve.
Responsibility for planning and executing our communications strategy, including screening and prioritizing executive meetings, executive prep and content development for internal and external meetings (eg: customers, partners, conferences, and social media/blogs, etc).
Partnering closely with Finance, HR and x-Operations teams to ensure targeted data and metrics available for clear/crisp accountability and streamlined decision making, ad hoc analysis and decision support.
Partnering with corporate business partners to satisfy compliance requirements for the business.
Ability to partner with Sales & Geos on Forecasting interlocks and work with PM team / Sales to unblock deals

Bachelors Degree in a relevant subject. Masters or MBA a plus.
Presently operating in a Business Operations leadership role within a technology company. 10+ years overall experience preferred
Excellent leadership, management, strategic influencing, creative thinking, conflict resolution, and team building skills
Ability to work well with all levels of management as well as technical contributors
Ability to translate business objectives into goals and measurements.
Exceptional operational command of the business, including metrics' based goals and achievement approach
Exceptional team player with the ability to quickly develop and foster stakeholder relationships, and strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated track record of leading or working with cross-functional teams
Able to quickly drive, communicate and gain support for decisions in unstructured environments
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Strong presentation skills and executive presence, with the ability to address and influence both executive and mid-level management audiences. Amazing Powerpoint and Excel modeling skills.
Strategic approach to problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting abilities.
Exceptional analytical skills. Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations. Prior Consulting and/or Finance experience a plus
