We are seeking an experienced Manager of Business Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of REAN Cloud, our Cloud Modernization business. This position will report into the Director of Operations. You will work to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.
The area of responsibility for rather broad and thus requires a strong cross-functional understanding of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many kinds of operational activities. He/she must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company's operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
Assist the Services leadership in developing and defining the broader strategy, roadmap and tactical execution plans necessary to achieve the organization's FY21 Digital business vision.
Assist the Services leadership team, working on a range of critical projects and issues from new growth initiatives and business models, to competitive intelligence, to investment priorities.
Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
Engage staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback
Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
Manage inter departmental processes and coordinate activities with product, sales and operations to set the required Go to Market, enablement and sales execution efforts.
Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Ensure that the division runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
Take lead on resolving competing priorities for the CTO and GSS leader to maintain focus on critical, high-value programs
Prepare leadership for EC and other executive updates on progress
Facilitate ongoing HR and other back-office requests with the REAN team to ensure required employee and customer satisfaction levels
5 or more years of experience in business operations and/or other cross functional roles within the Tech industry
2-3 years of management consulting experience with a Top-Tier firm preferred
Ability to collect and present lack of efficiency and effectiveness with data and visualization as opposed to anecdotal evidence is critical
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Outstanding communication and people skills
Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
Ability to identify gaps and bottlenecks that impact employee and customer satisfaction
Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
Ability to apply context to the problem and find innovative and scalable solutions that make sense in the digital era as opposed to stick to old guard tricks and patterns that may have worked in massive bureaucratic organizations
Ability to understand the problem and define success criteria for a minimum viable solution and be agile in accomplishing goals as opposed to analysis paralysis in decision making
Ability to accept 80% as good enough but a continuous drive and motivation to improve and close gaps with a solid bias for action and not just motion
