The Senior Manager of Business Insights is crucial in driving the success of the Igloo Walmart Team. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a data-driven professional passionate about the retail segment to actively contribute to strategic decision-making processes and propel business expansion through insightful analysis and well-informed recommendations. The manager is responsible for delivering best-in-class analysis of sales, trends, and replenishment opportunities to promote sales growth while increasing market share. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders and the supply chain team to optimize sales through data-driven insights by utilizing replenishment best practices coupled with Internal, Syndicated, and Customer POS data. Additionally, you will track and report on the outcomes of your initiatives, establishing yourself as a trusted internal sales and replenishment expert capable of leading impactful collaboration calls with customer replenishment and planning teams.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The key point of contact for our customers and for all omnichannel replenishment issues, strategies, and initiatives.

  • Leverages analytics through Retail Link, Luminate, Madrid & Circana data to develop solid Key Performance Indicator (KPI) strategies for field execution and account management.

  • Report on POS trends, and exceptions highlighting opportunities and challenges to help sales management provide solutions to our retailers.

  • Aggressively manage unproductive inventory, identify trends, and develop recommendations to correct issues through storytelling and building solutions that benefit the company and its customers.

  • Responsible for the setup and modification of all POS, Replenishment & Trend reporting

  • Assist sales managers/directors in executing business objectives and help develop solution-based presentations based on POS findings.

  • Communicates and articulates compelling business insights and actions with data and context.

  • Supports management and retailers by providing in-depth data analysis of strengths/weaknesses in the current execution of retail strategies.

  • Partner with Sales and Demand Planning teams to analyze internal and external data tools to maintain high-level shipment forecast accuracy.

  • Works with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure supply chain readiness for promotions, new product introduction, distribution changes, and item transitions.

  • Provides weekly performance reporting to customers on all scorecard measures detailing business key wins and losses as well as a plan of action on metrics needing improvement.

  • Manage the prioritization of mod and feature order tracking and communicate shipping, receiving, delays, etc.

  • Investigate and assess relevant data influencing demand trends and operational forecasts, providing recommendations to address gaps and enhance customer in-stock position and revenue share.

  • Fully understand performance gaps and lead cross-functional efforts to determine their root cause, develop corrective measures, and implement action plans to deliver sustainable performance solutions.

  • Assist sales managers/directors in building collaborative forecasts with our retail partners to maximize sales and minimize inventory risks.

  • Build and maintain relationships with the Replenishment Managers and other key stakeholders by analyzing, supporting, and developing overall strategies to support customer's needs (both internal and external.

  • Coordinate and communicate with internal departments while adhering to established company policies, procedures, and approval processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field.

  • 5+ years of applicable business experience, in sales forecasting, reporting and analysis.

  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Computer Skills: Advanced spreadsheet expertise with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Power Point.

  • Extensive retailer and 3rd party system knowledge including Retail Link, Luminate, Circana, Madrid and Partners Online.

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills required.

  • Strong communication skills; persuasive (written and verbal)

  • Decisive, analytical - gather data, and draw conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite/OMIEE experience.

  • Hyperion Essbase/SmartView experience.
