The role of "Senior Analyst / Manager, Business Development and Client Solutions, Visa Developer Platform" is a position in Visa's Platform and Products organization that will be responsible for driving the adoption and success of the Visa Developer Platform (VDP) by clients, developer community and other third parties in the North America region. This position will be responsible for VDP business development, client project execution and community building activities. We need motivated individuals who can support our clients and developer community by providing product details, expert advice and marketing support to build a vibrant Visa Developer client base and community. The position will work closely with VDP Product team, VDP Sales, Developer community team, regional marketing and communications, and Visa Technology teams in the comprehensive development and execution of the client projects and community initiatives. This role reports into the Sr. Director, Visa Developer Platform.
The successful candidate will have technical background to facilitate solutions design, business acumen to plan business development, business communication skills to involve in strategic discussions, operational excellence to execute client projects, marketing and communication skills to develop community and clients. In addition, candidate must be highly collaborative, bringing a structured approach, ideally have a technical background, and have an exceptional ability to communicate complex, often technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree
8+ years tech/product experience, with a strong focus on digital products, services, and/or platforms. API platform experience a plus.
Proven ability to work with Technology, Product, and MarComm to deliver and execute an integrated product offering and go-to-market plan
Fluency and experience interfacing regularly with clients and internal partners
Ability to communicate complex, often technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Engage and lead business planning activities by working with cross functional teams. Provide guidance to regional teams to come up with realistic plans for the year.

In partnership with the Developer Community Manager, establish developer outreach programs and both internal and external events (e.g., hackathons, etc.) to establish VDP as the industry standard platform for global payments.
Assist community communications for events and campaigns by developing content through various platforms including monthly newsletters, blogs, etc. and maintaining a generic email inbox.
Help maintain the social and content calendars for publishing on the site.
Support the coordination and planning of strategic programs, campaigns, and sponsorships our influencers and top users.
Identifying and acting on opportunities to connect members. Ensure successful experiences with our existing users by playing an integral role in customer relationship management.
