Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking a passionate customer visionary to join our team to build and implement holistic value strategies inclusive of price, promo and loyalty to improve customer price perception and deepen engagement with current and new customers.

In this role you will be an integral member of the Price Value Team. This team is responsible for Price, Promotion and Coupon strategies for CVS Front store. The contributions you will make as a Lead Director will drive the future of CVS Health's value strategy.

As a Senior Manager in Price & Value Innovation, you will develop holistic, customer-centric price and value strategies & plans that inspire customers to consistently choose CVS as their health and wellness retailer of choice. Our goal is to increase customer-centric thinking across the CVS retail organization to and accelerate growth in sales units and customer trips.

In this role, you will operate in an ambiguous, innovative environment. Ability to learn quickly and think critically to translate data into insights is critical to success. You will lead & perform deep customer & market analysis to develop business insights & recommendations to accelerate growth in sales units and customer trips.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Building category level holistic, customer-centric price and value strategies.

  • Partnering with Director & 2-3 Managers to perform customer analysis to identify customer segments, attributes and behavior patterns to find opportunity to improve regular prices and promo/coupon plans.

  • Building trusted relationships and collaborative partnerships with multiple teams & leaders across the Front Store organization including Merchandising, Marketing & Stores Loyalty & Personalization, Retail Analytics and Retail Marketing teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in either Retail/CPG or Management Consulting

  • Experience managing retail P&L

  • Merchandising familiarity - understanding of retail merchandising basics (i.e., Category Management), and merchandising organizational structures and processes

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to (25%)

  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous, innovative environment

  • Ability to learn quickly and think critically in white space

  • Ability to create & tell a compelling story telling across teams & levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience leading coaching & developing a team

  • Management Consulting experience for a top tier firm

  • Specific experience in Retail category management, CPG, or vendor management leading strategic commercial projects with significant business impact

  • Retail/CPG experience and/or experience analyzing large customer/transaction data sets

  • Experience using Tableau, SQL, and other technical tools

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
