Here's your chance to work as an Business Development Manager on our Training & Certification team to scale the Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start Program. AWS re/Start is a full-time, classroom-based skills development and training program that prepares individuals for careers in the cloud and connects them to potential employers. A technology background is not required to apply and the program is focused on unemployed or underemployed individuals, including military veterans and their families, and young people.
Through real-world, scenario-based learning, labs, and coursework, learners gain the skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. AWS re/Start also provides learners with resume and interview coaching to prepare for employer meetings and interviews.

In this role, you will work closely with our customers, partners and account managers to help employers build entry-level talent that will accelerate adoption and usage of AWS services. You will develop a global employer pipeline by working with customers and partners to understand their skills gap challenges, developing detailed recruitment and on-boarding proposals and helping them with execution of hiring plans. We are looking for an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced, initially unstructured environments to define, develop and help execute a go to market plan, make refinements while learning and consistently deliver on placement targets. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical and business backgrounds that enables them to help drive engagement at both the user and CXO level. The right candidate will have very strong communication skills to skillfully create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS.
The key responsibilities of this global position include:
Conduct Talent Needs Assessments with key, global customers and large partners
Develop detailed proposals and plans to accelerate the adoption of the AWS re/Start program
Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure flawless execution of Talent hiring and onboarding.
Evangelize AWS Training & Certification and specifically, the AWS re/Start program at company and industry events.
Build & maintain a pipeline of employer opportunities and provide regular forecasts.
Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.
