We are looking for a leader that can bring PagerDuty Growth Analytics to the next level. PagerDuty uniquely combines human and machine data to revolutionize real-time work in today's digital organizations. You'll lead the Growth Analytics team within growth marketing and also have a broader impact evangelizing analytics across all departments, You'll be a key member in PagerDuty's ongoing data driven approach to run the business.

In this role, you'll report directly to the Senior Director, Growth & Analytics. Also, directly impact the growth strategy and focus areas - collaborating closely with product leaders, marketers, growth, and engineers throughout the customer lifecycle. You will be responsible for driving the overall analytics direction for PagerDuty across our marketing, website and experimentation.

How You Impact our Vision

  • Create and socialize key metrics, reports and dashboards - monitor performance important metrics for changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations to the Growth team

  • Function as the analytics partner for Growth and lead projects that use data and analytics to develop an in-depth understanding of our customer base and acquisition/growth funnel performance - find opportunity areas and influence cross-functional partners with insights to deliver sustained and material growth

  • Partner with marketing and engineering teams to identify and address analytics tracking, tooling, attribution modeling, and infrastructure challenges

  • Configure and use website analytics, testing platforms to measure the performance of experiments

  • Drive interpretation, socialization, and adoption of analytics insights - influence decisions and drive the experimentation strategy within Growth

About You

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative fast-growing environment

  • Possesses high competencies in critical thinking and communication/interpersonal skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear/concise manner both verbally and in writing

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies

  • 5+ years of analytics experience; 2+ years working on growth

  • Experience with Segment, Google Analytics, Looker, and other reporting/visualization tool

Duties & Responsibilities * Provide valuable insights using data and analytics to help identify and resolve issues relating to all areas of the business * Review and analyze existing business strategies, as well as recommend and implement new strategies as appropriate * Design and ensure appropriate utilization of monitoring and tracking to measure and quantify the effectiveness of strategies or tests * Produce reports and analysis for monthly portfolio performance tracking and evaluation • Participate in and contribute to the strategy and execution plan for identifying, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring analytical resources Perform ad-hoc analysis for management as needed Travel: Minimal travel required (5% - 10%) Required Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in a technical major (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics) AND 7+ years of work experience in designing credit risk strategy/policy * Proven track record in managing and developing teams including analysts, senior analysts and managers * Proficient Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python or R * Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities * Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills and strong technical acumen.
