About the Team

The Enterprise Strategy and Operations team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to grow revenue efficiently. To achieve this, the team builds processes, executes best-in-class go-to-market strategies, and influences sales priorities. The broader Enterprise team provides strategic development for our largest revenue driving segments across all geographies and business lines at DoorDash. The Ads & Promotions Sales team is responsible for selling our suite of marketing products to these large merchants and CPG companies.

About the Role

As our Senior Manager in Enterprise Strategy and Operations, focused on Ads Sales, you will be the head partner tied to our growing Ads Sales team. You'll discover and drive performance improvements across the sales organization and build the foundation for it to scale. You will collaborate with general managers, product teams, and the Ads sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies, report on business performance, and build systems for scale. Additionally, you'll be the key thought partner to our Head of Ads Sales on strategic projects to enhance productivity, design process, and influence the product roadmap.

You will report into the Director of Enterprise Strategy on our broader Enterprise Strategy and Operations team. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

  • Devise and execute initiatives against the overall sales org strategy for winning merchant advertising dollars
  • Analyze
  • Own our business metrics, diagnose performance, make recommendations on how to make up ground or accelerate and how to increase rep productivity.

  • Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run sales tests and lead market intelligence efforts
  • Scale
  • Scope recommendations for tools, process, infrastructure for Sales to use to drive day to day efficiency and improved revenue outcomes.
  • Influence
  • Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, business operations and BD teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve targets

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 10+ years of experience in Ads businesses, Sales Strategy & Operations or Revenue Operations roles, or a generalist position with a track record of owning revenue metrics and working with sales teams

  • You are a leader with experience managing people, setting priorities, and building relationships with multiple senior stakeholders

  • You're entrepreneurial with a bias towards action, an ownership mentality and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment

  • You're naturally curious, always look for ways to innovate and improve and want to share the vision and direction of the company

  • You're gritty, roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful

  • You're a problem solver and can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans

  • You're an excellent verbal and written communicator, able to express a complex idea clearly and simply to internal audiences

  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with large data sets within Excel / Google sheets; SQL skills are preferred

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
