Job Description:

Arcadis currently has an opening for a Sr. Management Consultant 2 to join the company at any of our Seattle, WA office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. The Sr. Management Consultant will oversee project teams to ensure established Environmental, Health, & Safety related business requirements, are properly translated into Information System specifications and accurately implemented.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead assessments of current client business and operations processes, identify opportunities for improvement and peer review documented potential gaps

  • Facilitate primary discussion of functional requirement in adequate detail for transition to configuration

  • Oversee deployment of requirements and resolve translation disconnects between the technical team and the client, clarifying information system details into related business requirements that non-technical audiences can understand

  • Oversee configuration of enterprise-level commercial off-the-shelf software to meet delivery and deployment requirements

  • Review requirement specifications for completeness

  • Assess team performance and efficiency and make resourcing adjustments as needed

  • As needed assist in addressing or escalating complex issues that arise from testing

  • Identify project delivery milestones and communicate to team

  • As applicable based on the project team assignment, function as liaison between client project teams and technical implementation associates

  • Regularly interact and communicate with clients

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions and issues resolution.

  • Manage and finalize project documentation:

  • Design specifications

  • Quality assurance and testing templates

  • Training guides

  • Lead project status and progress meetings

  • Sustain client relationships in order to identify potential new work opportunities.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable environmental, health & safety aspects of projects

  • Oversee and manage unit testing

  • Lead technical deployment of EMIS solutions

  • Oversee technical aspects of EMIS implementation projects

  • Lead the technical aspects of EMIS configuration workshops

  • Direct and perform final QA/QC on the technical aspects of EMIS configuration/implementation deliverables

  • Create and assist with the creation of complex reports in EMIS solutions

  • Participates in demos, provides content for statement of work (work steps, amount of time and expertise needed) with oversight from Software COE

  • Demonstrated ability to assist in addressing conflicts between client and solution provider.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, alone, as a team member, or as a team lead.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform application coding and advanced reporting.

Demonstrated aptitude for learning and working beyond comfort zone, as well as ownership, ability to self-start, and carry work through to completion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, or relevant experience

  • Minimum of 10 -15 years' experience working with clients to define process and system requirements.

  • Minimum of 10-15 years' experience working on software implementation projects as an analyst.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree
