Senior Maintenance Worker - Caldwell Events Center (Cec)

The City of Caldwell has an opening for a full time Senior Maintenance Worker at the Community Events Center. Individual is responsible for maintaining, repairing and beautifying the City's event center, RV area, and other related public areas and performs related work as required.

Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with other City employees and the general public. Subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED; and some related event center maintenance experience including staff supervision; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Required Special Qualifications: Possession of a current and valid driver's license; must be able to work flexible hours as well as weekends and holidays; Possession of or the ability to obtain a Food Handling Certification from the Southwest District Health within 90 days of employment and Possession of or the ability to obtain a pesticide applicators license issued by the State of Idaho within 90 days of employment.
