Senior Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY: Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, and/or repairing all machinery and equipment throughout the facility to include electrical, HVAC, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and fabricate parts needed for equipment.

• Design and fabricate guarding and other safety devices.

• Maintain preventive maintenance program throughout facility, to include eMaint software.

• Interface with supervisor/manager to schedule maintenance of equipment.

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

• Support manufacturing engineering to include cost reductions as well as new equipment prep, install, and implementation.

• Interface with outside suppliers to troubleshoot and/or repair equipment.

• Always ensure a safe work area.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION:

Education AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Strong mechanical background. Strong electrical background. At least 5 years Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with co-workers, and to follow instructions.

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Superior trouble shooting skills

• Strong math skills

• Basic measurement skills (ruler, tape measure, calipers)
