Senior Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Manager to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Livingston, California. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for the plant's initiatives in the areas of facilities and preventative maintenance expertise and capital project management. You'll supervise the entire maintenance staff and oversee all aspects of the department.

What you'll do:

• Assign duties and responsibilities to entire maintenance staff while approving work schedules, time off, and approve time keeping

• Maintain and review maintenance logs to determine maintenance needs, areas of improvements and capital projects

• Foster a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and regulations

• Manage the facility parts, supply and R&M budgets and code invoices

• Ensure maintenance improvement and capital projects are on schedule while communicating delays or updates as necessary

What you'll bring:

• Excellent knowledge and aptitude in mechanical, fabrication, electrical (low voltage dc, 110v, 230V and 460v ac) pneumatic and hydraulic technologies. Working knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic

• Good knowledge of sanitary design standards and working in a regulated manufacturing environment

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Highly-motivated self-starter who is able to think independently, yet work as a team player

• 7-10 years of combined plant/process maintenance management and project management experience, preferably in the Food sector

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Livingston, California.

The salary range for this position is $115,150 - $191,900 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
