Job Summary

Raytheon's Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time.

Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. These disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation, with a focus area in product support, including the following disciplines: reliability system safety and supportability.

As a Senior Logistics Specialist, you will provide in country logistics support for the THAAD UAE radar team.

This Unaccompanied Onsite position is in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Position will start in El Paso, TX for training, with deployment estimated in May.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

  • Responsible for the physical and virtual direction of all in-country assets at the THAAD Maintenance Facility (TMF) in the UAE, including US classified spares as well as over 12,000 mission critical and non-critical spares.

  • Manage logistics operations for four separate OCONUS warehouses.

  • Coordinate logistics operations between Raytheon, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), OEM contractors, and the UAE military to facilitate CONUS and OCONUS repairs.

  • Manage the provisioning and inventory control of 1000+ spares.

  • System Administrator for Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS), the in-country maintenance and logistics database.

  • Responsible for resolving technical issues within the database and granting access/permissions to the on-site Raytheon employees.

  • Provide support and training to the foreign military customer.

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and / or software in a military or civilian environment.

  • Experience with hands-on hardware and software maintenance with the THAAD Radar system.

  • Experience with Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience Isolating problems and initiating results in a timely manner.

  • Experience generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer.

  • Experience working independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision.

  • Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.

  • Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to coordinate and interface effectively at all, levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government team.

  • Ability to research complex customer problems and provide technical, process and / or training resources, including networking, database management, and software requirements.

  • Ability to provide domestic and international on-site support as needed.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
