Job Description:

The primary function of the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is to ensure the quality target of zero defects for loan booking, servicing and maintenance transactions are met under a quality assurance review. The senior analyst will participate in reviewing data input into the loan system (ACBS) for accuracy and completeness for complex loans while gathering and reporting root cause analysis. Quality Assurance tasks include the review and reporting of loan data for financial and non-financial transaction processing. Quality Assurance reviews are performed in-line with daily production activities and require strong attention to detail while adhering to strict process deadlines. The quality assurance process compares data entry inputs against the supporting loan documents for completeness and accuracy. The Quality Assurance Analyst will document and report errors to the appropriate Loan Operations manager daily. If a pattern of errors is discovered, or other circumstances require it, the Quality Assurance Analyst will research the problem, research potential solutions to the problem, and make recommendations for best resolution. The right candidate must be able to maintain a high degree of focus and impeccable quality over extended periods to meet servicing level quality and timelines expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing and delivering quality review of financial and non-financial loan transactions for ACBS

  • Responsible for documenting, reporting and describing errors to various levels of Operational Leadership

  • Responsible for identifying error trends and root cause analysis at various levels and reporting them to Operational Leadership. Responsible for recommending solutions, when necessary

  • Understanding and following specific and complex loan structures, coding, schedules and transactions, which are defined in the loan documents.

  • Assist with input to process workflows and procedures enhancements.

  • Solve general problems and errors independently, referring the most involved problems/errors to management.

  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal & external processing risk controls

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree BS, BA or greater

  • 3-5 years of Loan Operations experience

  • Successful work experience requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Ability to work within process time deadlines

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret loan documents

  • Ability to collect and organize information

  • General knowledge of banking procedures desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
