Fountain View Village is looking for hospitality focused Volunteers to join our team! Volunteering in a senior living facility requires compassion, patience, and a willingness to engage with residents to enhance their daily lives. Volunteers play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive environment for seniors.

Volunteering at a senior living facility involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the well-being and quality of life of the residents. Here are a some of the daily responsibilities of a Senior Living volunteer:

• Engaging in conversations: Spending time talking with residents to alleviate loneliness.

• Reading: Reading books, newspapers, or magazines to residents who have difficulty reading.

• Playing games: Participating in board games, card games, or puzzles with residents.

• Accompanying on walks: Taking residents for walks within the facility or nearby areas.

• Recreational activities: Helping with crafts, music sessions, exercise classes, or other recreational activities.
