Job Mission

This position will report to Head of US Legal and will be located in Chandler, AZ. ASML's worldwide Legal Department consists of several attorneys, supported by paralegals and contract managers. We are a close knit group of highly empowered, business oriented lawyers with broad responsibilities who enjoy working together.

Job Description

  • Be a counselor and trusted partner to HR.

  • Assist HR in managing employment-related agency complaints (including EEOC, DOL, OSHA and related state agencies).

  • Develop a deep understanding of ASML's business, proactively identify areas of employment-related exposure and propose business-oriented solutions on how to eliminate or mitigate that exposure.

  • Work with HR to build and implement scalable, world-class employment policies and programs that balance legal risk with business impact.

  • Be the legal point of contact for employee related litigation, including discovery.

  • Collaborate HR and other stakeholders on projects to sustain and enhance employment law compliance.

  • Work with HR in conducting internal investigations and audits of employment-related claims and compliance.

  • Work closely with outside counsel to manage risk and ensure that internal clients and stakeholders receive effective, business-focused employment law support.

  • Provide day to day advice to HR on a broad range of employment issues.

Experience & Education

  • At least 8 -12 years of employment law experience at a highly respected law firm and/or in-house corporate environment.

  • Substantive knowledge of employment laws.

  • Prefer candidates with exposure in international business and high technology environments.

  • J.D. required.

S/he manages the BI development/architecture team and partners with Business Functions and EIS Technology team to lead the implementation of BI solutions for one or more large or complex Business Functions. The Sr. BI Manager will collaborate with the business on the how to best utilize data and reporting, while also ensuring alignment on business goals and strategy. 1. Define and execute the technology strategy for BI information delivery to provide BI and management information to all levels of the enterprise. 2. Manage the team's daily information delivery, including but not limited to data provisioning, profiling, and quality controls, building and maintenance of frameworks and cubes, design and building of reports and dashboard solutions. 3. Oversee the implementation of automation and monitoring around the loading and transformation of data and building of reports/dashboards. 4. Drive adoption of BI tools through creating/designing and leading development of engaging user interfaces that includes reports and dashboards delivered in a Self-Service model. 5. Manage BI releases and BI Solution development to ensure success of the BI projects, as measured by on time delivery, quality in meeting or exceeding business user needs, as well as stability and performance of the BI platform. 6. Ensure adherence to corporate, government and industry policy and procedures. 7. Act as the business owner of information delivery related technology solutions and partners with business functions and EIS Technology team to meet service level requirements. 8. Map out complex business processes to serve as reference for development of analytics solutions and advocates for business process simplification where appropriate to deliver robust and cost effective solutions. 9. Oversee ongoing development to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of requirements to stakeholders 10. Develop, mentor and lead assigned business intelligence team members. Hire, oversee and assess development of staff and their performance.
