The Senior Legal Assistant provides the daily administrative operations of the Legal department, contributing to the accomplishment of department objectives. This role provides administrative, project management, research, and organizational skills to assist legal counsel, management, sales team, and customers in the preparation and facilitation of legal contracts.
What You'll Do
Draft, review, and manage various commercial contracts, agreements, reports, and legal documents
Edit and update existing contract templates with accurate customer information
Collaborate with attorneys, management, sales teams, and customers to execute contracts
Facilitate amendment creation and execution
Assist with contract administration and general compliance
Manage multiple legal projects and contracts with various timelines
Negotiate Non Disclosure Agreements and other contract types (as needed) utilizing playbooks
Conduct legal research and analyze a variety of issues
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with contracts administration
Minimum of Associate's degree
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in legal administrative support
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting an in-house legal department in the SaaS industry
Experience supporting a Sales organization
Paralegal Certification (ABA approved or NALA) preferred
Detail oriented with strong organization and follow-through skills
Proven effective written, verbal and listening communication skills
Ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment; must be able to multitask while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Outstanding interpersonal skills; able to develop working relationships with employees from all departments and all levels of management
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Minimal Travel
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
How You'll Be Rewarded
Salary range in the US: $23.00 - $37.00
A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
