Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather and report production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district office

  • Perform lease maintenance, such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; greasing pumping units, service lease equipment, pack wells etc.

  • Note problems and/or recommend courses of action to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production

  • Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells and make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use and inspect wells to maximize production

  • Monitor pump off controllers, look for leaks and lost production

  • Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases for which pumper is responsible

  • Offer guidance and assistant other lease operators if needed

  • Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor which are unique to the assigned geographic area

Education/Experience Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited state-certified program

  • Must possess a current, valid driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle and have a good, clean driving record

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of oil/gas industry related experience with at least 4 years of pumping experience

  • Must have an interest in gaining knowledge of engineering principles and an understanding of subsurface and surface equipment and operations

  • Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculations, have good mechanical aptitude, good writing skills and have a good safety and driving record

  • Must have prior work experience utilizing PC-based computer applications

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule work will include Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays and can be changed at any time

  • Must be able to be available on-call 24/7 in case of emergency

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds

  • Must be willing and able to drive a car for extended period of time

VIEW JOBS 4/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-09T00:00 Summary: The Operator is responsible for maintaining overall operations of the facility while following corporate policies and insuring that safe work and environmental procedures are followed. * Operates plant facilities' various equipment/systems, including but not limited to: * Cryogenic plant processing, hydrocarbon fractionation units, process controls and measurement, engines and compressors, pumps, pressure relief system, instrument air system, dehydrators, fuel system, treating, emergency shutdown systems, reciprocating compressors, gas fired heaters, process pumps, amine treating systems, inlet gas receivers and NGL storage and transfer facilities. * Operates company radio, performs lab tests for quality assurance, diagnoses mechanical problems, makes minor repairs as needed, assists other crafts personnel and other tasks as assigned. * Seeks to optimize processing though facility and maintain proper product specifications, responds to alarms and problems within the plant and make the appropriate corrections. * Will also perform lockout/tagout procedures and may monitor field compressor status through the use of SCADA. * Responsibilities also include SPCC reporting, prevention and reporting of any spills and monitoring environmental compliance. * Maintain and adhere to required Company Trainings, Company Policies, and Procedures * The selected candidate will be required to pass all PSM-required operator certifications.
