In this role, you will support the Global Infrastructure Business Unit, responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of complex technology projects and initiatives spanning multiple businesses and the organization to ensure that project deliverables are provided on time, within budget and in accordance with specifications and requirements. This Senior Lead is responsible for building and maintaining productive working relationships within the organization with various levels of associates and constituencies, including business, product, security, and finance leaders and teams.

You will help manage the integration and/or development and delivery of very large and complex deliverables directly to the enterprise. This position is accountable for managing the overall Program or collection of Projects. The Senior Lead is responsible for ensuring communication across the organization is clear and robust.

The Senior Lead will assist in managing and providing communication, including overall project milestones, risk, scope and expectations, project integration, budget and staffing. Additional responsibilities include monitoring performance of project team resources with respect to their assigned project activities. Responsibilities will also include development of onboarding materials, mentorship programs, and tracking/reporting of key OKRs.

You will follow Program Management disciplines in the following areas: Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Issue Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communication Management and Contract Management.

You will establish, manage and publishes a comprehensive overall project plan, including the development schedule, resource requirements and integration efforts of third-party products. You will establish project structure and staffing plans, and participates in staffing process. You motivate and direct the project team; sets goals, objectives and priorities; assigns and reviews project tasks and performance on a regular basis, benchmarking against key milestone deliverables.

You will assist in the execution of key projects by working directly with the leadership team. The Senior Lead establishes comprehensive cross functional written and verbal communications evaluating Program tasks, milestones, dependencies, issues and escalations, and includes program meetings, minutes, executive briefings and issue management tracking. You will collaborate with cross functional Product and Project Managers on all Program management deliverables, and act as primary interface with the project sponsor(s) as well as the Product Manager. You will ensure that the methodology, processes and tools are consistently used as dictated through Program Management Office (PMO) and be accountable for meeting project schedule and results, client satisfaction and the quality of the deliverables.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • You'll start each day with a scrum, working with a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities.Working in two-week agile sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards. Although your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time, you may need to dive in to review code, so your coding background will come in handy and contribute to your success.

  • You're the point of contact for the project. You'll share information with your teammates, mark milestones, and provide metrics and status updates to product owners and project sponsors.

  • As a project manager, you are very organized, and you keep everyone on task. Is a meeting going off-topic?

    You'll pull the team back to the agenda. Scope creeping? You'll stay on top of the schedule, remove barriers, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.

  • Variety of tasks. There is no typical day.

    You could coach a teammate, deliver a status update to executives in other departments, or make sure we have deployed our resources in the best possible way. You will manage many competing priorities, so a fast pace should not scare you. You pride yourself on having flexibility and agility and can change directions without a second thought.

  • Servant Leadership. Your job is to help everyone else work better.

    What tasks or issues can you handle so your development team can keep working? What barriers can you remove?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Information Systems

  • 5+ plus years of proven Program Management experience

  • Experience in managing project teams of more than 15+ associates across multiple functions in the company

  • Experience in mentoring and coaching multiple Project Managers

  • Ability to lead initiatives related to organizational development

  • Ability to craft senior executive Powerpoint presentations

  • Experience in leading employee engagement in a large organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Proven program management skills, including complex projects that include integration across organizations. Technology/Information Systems related experience a plus.

  • PMP or equivalent Professional Project Management certification.

  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-line product projects. Experience in leading and directing multiple Project Managers across organizations.

  • Proven track record of maintaining effective Project Team relationships in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Must possess a proven ability to work effectively with an aggressive, demanding client and ADP project teams. Must be able to work well under pressure and have a high tolerance for stress.

  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting projects.

  • Global infrastructure program management experience, a plus!
