About the role:

This individual contributor role is an experienced Compensation Analytics Manager who will be a thought partner reporting to the Sr. Director of GTM Incentive Design & Strategy, within the GTM Strategy and Operations organization. This role provides recommendations and implementation of compensation analytics solutions for client facing employees, cost modeling, performance and attainment analysis through a deep understanding of data visualization and applied data science to convey insightful analytics. You will work closely with Go-To-Market Leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, and BI Teams. As a key part of our broader GTM Strategy & Ops, Enablement, and Systems team, this individual will work across the GTM Ops team to empower Klaviyo's growth through analytics and insights that enable scalable Incentive Plans and best in class compensation reporting.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Design and implementation of compensation analytics and reporting that align with the company's strategic goals, values and support a high-performance culture through strategic partnership with our leadership team.

  • Manage the administration of all incentive compensation reporting and analytics to ensure incentives are paid on time and adhere to design governance. This includes attainment and compensation payment reporting, predictive cost modeling, data validation & reconciliation reports, and ad-hoc reporting.

  • Serve as a data & business process SME demonstrating knowledge surrounding Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems, our upstream financial reporting and CRM systems, and downstream BI and reporting capabilities.

  • Be an expert in validating data sets for precision and holding data quality as a top priority in all analytics initiatives.

  • Independently develop and document data and business process flows and identify efficiencies to support end to end automation and provide requirements and recommendations for configuration changes for ICM Analytics, and participates in commissions related User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Develop cost modeling, scenario analysis and insights of our Incentive Plan design and Sales Performance by synthesizing information from multiple sources and assist in interpreting findings to help leadership make informed decisions and continually enhance dashboard visualizations.

  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key business partners within GTM Operations, Commission Operations, Finance, and Sales.

What we're looking for:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in BI reporting, Sales Ops, Sales Compensation, Finance, Business Analysis, or knowledge transferable function.

  • 5+ years experience in Data Engineering, SQL Development, and Programming using a variety of databases (e.g Snowflake)

  • 3+ years experience designing and/or configuring BI & reporting capabilities within Sales Compensation, ICM and other interdependent data systems

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Math (or a related field) is required for this role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal oversight, using discretion, experience and data to make strategic recommendations to the business.

  • Works in a proactive and collaborative manner to drive efficiency - eliminating manual processes where possible.

  • Strong data visualization & communication skills and ability to effectively influence VP level stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to Collaborate virtually (Google suite, Slack, Zoom)

Nice to have:

  • Systems knowledge of SFDC, Alteryx, and experience working with ICM systems such as Xactly or other related commissions software.

  • Expertise with AI/ML using Python to perform predictive analytics, and statistical modeling, tailored to our market and business needs.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Base Pay Range For US Locations:

$160,000-$240,000 USD
