About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Senior Lead Data Management Analyst in Data Management and Insights (DMI) organization within the Enterprise Platform and Partner success (EPPS) Team. This role will drive an integrated perspective including product road mapping, planning and execution for the BPPA (Banking Product & Platform Architecture) products - L3/L2/L1 products across EPPS (Enterprise Platform & Partner Success), application data migration, data center exit strategy and execution plans of data platforms to their target state (public google cloud, or private cloud) with detail mapping of dependencies across all internal and external product areas.

In this role, you will:

  • Breakdown the organization goals into manageable deliverables, define the Program Increment business and technical objectives working in conjunction with product managers and technical leaders.

  • Partner with product owners on formulation and maintenance of roadmaps.

  • Partner with Data Management & Insight (DMI), Line of Businesses (LOBs), Information Technology (IT) teams to implement business processes around data platforms in alignment with organizational strategy.

  • Identification and implementation of best practices and procedures.

  • Ensure adoption across business areas of EDL (Hadoop), Teradata, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP), Data Private Cloud is progressing in alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategies.

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership.

  • Establish deliverables for Big room planning sessions of data platforms of Wells Fargo to meet the overall goals of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms
  • 3+ years of experience with data governance and management practices
  • 3 + years of Data Management Platform (DMP) experience
  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
  • 3 + years of experience leading multiple workstreams, applications, or deliverables
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
  • 3 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 2+ years of banking industry experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in management of large-scale migrations related to data platforms, enterprise scale planning and organizing transitions of 15K+ data analysts

  • Familiar with the foundational workings of large-scale enterprise data warehouses, platforms, related consumption tools and products, leading data related development products

  • Experience in translating strategic goals into executable integrated roadmaps.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills and being a storyteller, understand and explain the "why" behind organizational priorities, incremental delivery

  • Awareness around public cloud migration such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure, preferably in the data space. Google Cloud certification is desired

  • Strong ability to influence and hold teams accountable for deliverables without having direct authority and partner with 20+ scrum teams to achieve program goals.

  • Demonstrate past work experience of organizing and enabling teams in a scaled Agile environment and project management methodologies.

  • Experience in data architecture, strategy, implementing user journeys within the data domain for large enterprise strength platforms.

  • Experience with design of multi-tenant data architecture and its configuration spanning across both on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments

  • Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in financial industry

  • Strong familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Mural, etc

  • The position offers a hybrid work schedule of three (3)-days a week in the office and two (2)-days a week remote inclusive of holidays and vacation days counting as days in the office.
