Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to develop or influence initiatives that promote and advance planning companywide. Provides strategic leadership and influences the business support model for Advice and Planning Center of Excellence across Wells Fargo. This individual is responsible for developing business roadmaps aligned to product strategic roadmaps and business cases delivering outcomes based on customer needs-based fulfillment. This individual creates routines to keep stakeholders engaged and builds and presents materials to senior leaders on progress and benefits of advice and planning in that line of business. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and oversee business strategies across the enterprise for parts of advice framework aligned with product strategic roadmap and ensure we build synergies across teams, audiences, and channels.

  • Through a structured forward-looking planning process and close collaboration with teams, align business product support to product strategic roadmap designed for employee and customer adoption and delivery of business results 3 to 6 quarters out.

  • Document and refresh business cases for 5-year forecast, monitoring trends and progress towards identified benefits, accounting for prioritized products and features from product strategic roadmap and analyzing required investments.

  • Contribute to annual budgeting, planning and prioritization of work process to inform Advice and Planning Center of Excellence annual budget.

  • Translate product strategic roadmap and business case into Advice and Planning cost allocations across Wells Fargo.

  • Design Objective and Key Results for new products including strategic business benefits, impact, adoption, and field related metrics.

  • Mock-up reporting dashboards with Product Owners, Analytics Team and line of business subject experts to deliver ongoing management reporting.

  • Support transition of strategic initiatives to product readiness planning, validation and field integration partners and serve as a consultant through initiative lifecycle.

  • Present business strategies to Advice and Planning Product and Business Cabinet for prioritization and approval.

  • Create routines with senior leaders in the lines of business to consult on business decisions, resolve issues and keep informed on progress of strategic initiatives.

  • Follow current trends and competitor offerings in advice and planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of advice in context of Consumer Small Business Banking or Consumer Lending customer segments at Wells Fargo

  • Ability to build strategic and comprehensive narratives that illustrate advice and planning opportunities, benefits and results integrated across enterprise

  • Candidate must have strong storyboarding, design and narrative skills with PowerPoint

  • Proven strategic leadership experience with a diverse team of product owners, business leaders and support partners

  • Track record for developing holistic business plans to deliver on business objectives and results

  • Strong skills in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis, and business finance with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business growth strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to implement innovative and significant business strategies working in partnership with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present research and insights to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

  • MBA or MA in finance, economics, or related field.
