About this Role:

Wells Fargo Conduct Management Allegations and Operations Management is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to report directly to the head of Conduct Management Programs. This role will operate as an advisor and partner with leaders to ensure the right risk infrastructure is in place across Conduct Management Operations internal business processes, and coordinate risk support for the senior leadership team. The individual will have deep understanding of Wells Fargo's Conduct Management Program expertise, end-to-end business processes, proven capability to lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges and risks to internal processes based on commitments to regulators.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management

  • Serve as a thought leader within Investigations, Computer Crimes and Forensics in identifying emerging risks, additional controls as needed, improvement opportunities, efficiencies, and how to enhance business dynamics in the end-to-end allegation lifecycle

  • Partner with Conduct Management Governance and Control Management to:

  • Strategize, plan, and manage Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) controls inventory, ensuring controls are designed effectively to mitigate risk to an appropriate level across all Conduct Programs Risk identification and partner with Governance and Control Organization

  • Engage on control evaluation engagements, varying in complexity and risk level, to assess control effectiveness as prescribed by internal policies and guidance

  • Support Evidence Based Control Evaluation (EBCE) needs, coordinate reviews, conduct preparation meetings with Conduct Management Allegations and Operations Management as needed

  • Lead the resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of controls, governance, and regulatory guidelines, and understanding of business objectives, delivering longer term solutions

  • Participate in mitigating current and emerging risk exposures associated with the activities and operations, standardize controls, identify, and implement process improvements/standardization within Conduct Management Allegations and Operations Management

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions

  • Advocate for Wells Fargo's vision across all lines of business

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Conduct Management Program policy, process, and procedures

  • Widespread experience in the Risk Control Self-Assessment process, including experience identifying risks and controls, execution, reporting, and challenging determinations as appropriate

  • Thought leader with deep domain expertise, as well as leadership of high-risk projects, programs, initiatives, and key deliverables

  • Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners, including escalations as appropriate

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability and develop pragmatic solutions

  • Clear understanding of Risk Management Framework, enterprise/business policies, and programs to translate requirements into plans for the business
