Position Overview
The Role
Pure Storage is seeking a Sr. Launch Operations Manager to lead complex projects and product releases from conception through release and campaign delivery. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You will manage and improve existing processes, develop tools, manage releases and deliver sales and pipeline results with full transparency to the extended team. You'll be exercising independent judgment and developing recommendations that translate into a course of action.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Develop the framework for Accelerate and Always On launches for New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management
Represent the Launch Product Marketing team in the Product Business Group Lifecycle Steering Committee
Align launch activities to strategic goals within the Marketing and Product organizations
Manage ongoing Pure Announcement Roadmap for both Accelerate and Always-on launches
Create documentation and templates for GTM engagement with product teams
Develop methodology for prioritizing releases for maximum market impact
Participate in messaging exercises for launch payload items
Be directly responsible for GTM activities for a subset of products throughout their engineering development phase
Create a centralized repository of all GTM related launch activities across Tier 1 and Always On launches to document workflows from Phase 0 through Phase 3 and GA
Create alignment between NPI and PLC processes so GTM workstreams and activities begin and terminate consistently across both frameworks
Coordinate launch workstreams to deliver a complete and actionable bill of materials while mapping deliverables and dependencies to responsible parties
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
Extensive experience in project management, particularly in leading complex projects and product releases (Hardware, Software, and/or SaaS) from conception to delivery, demonstrating a track record of successful execution.
Proven ability to manage project schedules effectively, identifying potential risks, and communicating them clearly to project stakeholders, with a focus on mitigating these risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Strong proficiency in process improvement methodologies and experience in managing and enhancing existing processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Demonstrated capability in developing tools and resources to support project management and launch operations, enhancing team productivity and facilitating effective decision-making.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, exercise independent judgment, and provide strategic recommendations that drive actionable results, while ensuring full transparency to the extended team throughout the launch process.
You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
Pay Range
USD $172,000.00 - USD $259,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement
The annual base salary range is: $172,000 - $259,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
