SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The primary role of the Land Finance Analyst is to assist the Land and Executive Management teams in making informed decisions regarding the financing of prospective land acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track the pipeline of upcoming land closings, providing senior leadership a consolidated view.

  • Create and maintain detailed models around Land financing structures and lot tracking.

  • Coordinate supporting data on sales comparisons, demographics, product competition, entitlements, market trends and other information relevant to a project's viability.

  • Communicate with investors as they perform their due diligence and underwriting of prospective projects.

  • Provide period end reporting to financial partners and internal teams.

  • Maintain forecasting around Land Acquisition spend to the relevant internal teams.

  • Other tasks may include working on Bonds, Letters of Credit, and contract extraction.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Finance and Real Estate are preferred)

  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • The work environment is representative of an office/field setting

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
