The role is responsible for supporting QA and QC tasks to validate and enforce accuracy on the Kingfisher Expansion (KFE) program. This role establishes audits and checkpoints following the QMP and performs assessments for compliance. This role implements correction actions following approved SOPs. This role is responsible for reporting audit results. This role identifies and recommends changes to avoid future quality issues based on findings.

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience
Degree: MA/MS degree
Strong attention to detail for reviewing and auditing for accuracy and quality
Ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities change

Experience working in the NCTC environment including using KFE

Knowledge of ODNI, NCTC, and IC mission, roles, responsibilities, and policies and procedures including classification management
ODNI ISSA/TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance

Position Overview: The Single Family Underwriting Professional position ensures the quality and integrity of compliance underwriting decisions and processes. This position can be performed from a remote location in the U.S. Our Impact: We perform post-purchase audits on sampled loans to determine if they meet Freddie Mac's Responsible Lending requirements; requiring Seller/Servicers to repurchase high cost home loans. Your Impact: * Manage a pipeline of loans assigned each month, to meet production and quality requirements. * Review required loan file documentation and extract data necessary to perform predatory lending compliance testing. * Accurately input data into compliance testing software application and Freddie Mac's internal QC platform. * Request missing documentation vital to complete the underwriting review * Write clear and concise repurchase letters to customers identifying defects discovered in the loan file. * Validate delivery data in Freddie Mac systems * Interpret automated and manual tests results with respect to federal HOEPA regulations and specific state laws * Decide which loans require repurchase due to noncompliance with responsible lending requirements * Proactively identify and watch adverse trends and report findings * Work under limited direction and independently resolve and develop an approach to solutions.
