As a Joint Advanced Targeting Analysis (Fires) expert, you will optimize the use of cyber capabilities against deliberate and dynamic targets in and through cyberspace. Analysts identify gaps in the ability to achieve an effect in accordance with tactical objectives, operational goals, and strategic end-states. Analysis are also responsible for collaboration and target coordination across USCYBERCOM and its mission partners.
What You'll Get to Do:
In this opportunity, you will assist in the coordination of joint strategic and operational planning and execution of joint fires, targeting, capability pairing, and threat mitigation in support of the Cyber Mission Force and partner operations.
More About the Role:
At the strategic level you will advise leadership on all principles of the Joint Targeting Cycle, support operations planners in support of Combatant Command operations, and recommend necessary policies, directives, and doctrine for joint fires execution.
Some of the functions you will perform at the tactical level include target nomination, deconfliction, and planning throughout the entire Joint Operation Planning Process; joint targeting board support, target systems analysis, target materials production, and collateral effects estimates.
You will support/lead the Joint Fires team in collaboration with the intelligence community and DoD organizations and components. You will act as technical liaison on behalf of the USCYBERCOM Operations Directorate with capability developers and testers, operations support staff, and operating units. You will act as a liaison in the Command regarding the cyber tasking processes and targeting cycle.
At the senior level you will be expected to understand the dynamics of Joint Targeting and Fires across the community. You will use your insights to develop documents to include targeting policies and procedures, and capture lessons learned that include results and conclusions. You will be expected to develop and provide briefings and point papers on the Cyberspace Fires process to senior personnel in the command, external partners, and stakeholders.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to pass a polygraph
15+ years of experience in Fires and/or Targeting for the Senior-level position
Minimum of High School Diploma
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Excellent communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate individually or as a team supporting USCYBERCOM command priorities, PowerPoint

DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Completed Joint Targeting School
Completed Joint Intermediate Target Development Course or similar service school
Prior experience at a Combatant Command; especially, USCYBERCOMMAND
Familiarity with the following tools: MlDB, Joint Targeting Toolbox, IKE and C3PO
