Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to participate in a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering solutions for multiple customers. Experience working with Agile/SCRUM project methodologies is critical as release cycles will correspond to fast-paced sprints. This resource will have the ability and experience to mentor less experienced consultants and be a leader for the team.

Responsibilities

• Middle tier development with Java

• Systems Design experience

• Debugging and TTD experience.

• Self-management of estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues

• Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical background

• Good working knowledge on DevOps processes (CI/CD)

• Ability and willingness to lead and mentor others

• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications

• Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment

• Demonstrates emerging leadership qualities

Qualifications

• This position requires a knowledge of and/or relevant experience as a Developer/Consultant.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered.

• Expertise (5-10+ year's) in Java Development.

• Expertise (5-10+ year's) in building Microservices based solution architecture

• Experience in Data modeling

• Experience in development with the following skills: Java/Web Services/API Development

Travel required:

Travel typically 25% or more a month

Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $130,000-$170,000 / annually + bonuses + benefits. Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
