Dedrone is seeking a seasoned Senior Java Microservice Engineer to join our dynamic team of experts. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge and extensive experience in developing and maintaining modern Java applications, with a strong preference for proficiency in the Quarkus framework. Candidates with solid experience in Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI) are also encouraged to apply.

You Will...

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java microservices using the Quarkus framework or similar technologies.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that is efficient, maintainable, and scalable.

• Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Proactively identify and implement improvements to our engineering processes and practices.

• Lead by example in writing clean, testable, and effective code.

You Have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Ample experience in writing and maintaining modern Java code, with a

strong preference for candidates experienced in the Quarkus framework.

• Proficiency in CDI and other Java EE technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team of experts and possess excellent engineering communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop engineering solutions independently and collaboratively on large projects.

• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in a rapidly evolving landscape.
