Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior JAVA LEAD DEVELOPER to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

Role: Senior JAVA LEAD DEVELOPER

Experience: 8-10 years of strong experience

Job Location: Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid model from the Client's locations in Reston VA. Remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Springboot, Microservices (AWS experience desirable)

• 8+ years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 8 or higher.

• Must have team lead experience to handle more than 4+ team.

• Able to deliver end to end project.

• Experience with java development and aware of java patterns.

• Experience in Spring Boot uses for development.

• Experience of development project and developed functionalities using java, j2ee.

• Experience on Angular 2+ development. Excellent organization skills attention to detail and ability to multi - task

• Promotes continuous process improvement especially in code quality test ability & reliability.

Must Have Skills:

Hands on experience in JAVA 8+

At least 8 years of experience in a hands-on development role.

Good ability to work in an Agile team across product, dev, QA and release teams.

Good knowledge on AWS is an added advantage.

Banking and Financial Services experience is an added advantage preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
