Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in full cycle of enterprise software development.

  • Develop and maintain J2EE applications in a fast pace environment.

  • Debug and/or recommend system efficiencies and improvements.

  • Analyze and design within a Business Unit.

Competencies and skills

  • Strong experience in Java/J2EE, XML, JSP, JMS, JDBC, Struts.

  • Experience in working with HTML/XHTML, Javascript (jQuery, AJAX), CSS, Hibernate/JPA, SOA.

  • Hands on experience in 3tier architecture environments using Weblogic, JBoss, and Oracle databases.

  • Experience with application packaging and deployment tools e.g., ANT, Maven.

  • Ability to work with thirdparty APIs.

  • Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL desirable.

  • Excellent organizational skills; oral and written communication skills; timemanagement skills; and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Work with a team of developers on a variety of systems covering multiple platforms.

  • Minimum five years experience in application program development.

  • At least 2 years experience programming ECommerce related websites or applications.

  • Selfstarter with the determination to work in a very challenging environment.

GENERAL FUNCTION The Sr. Manager, Inventory is responsible for directing the Inventory and ensuring profit and growth of all channels of trade. The incumbent mines data and produces reports, metrics and analysis to maximize return on investment for NA sales and inventory and to monitor fulfillments activities. The incumbent manages inventory to achieve financial objectives (maximizing sales potential, minimizing loss from phase-outs and stock-outs) and drives the allocation process with cross functional partners from Sales, Logistics and Corporate Planning MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and direct the Inventory and coordinate with Allocation and Production Departments - integrate with Italy parent company and with ATL distribution center. * Establish and maintain accurate information flows and guidelines to all distribution centers of the supply chain in United States, Italy and China * Design and implement the inventory strategy to minimize the working capital and the obsolescence for the company and maximize the service level to the North American customers * Size and collect all opportunities to minimize excess and obsolete inventories and maximize the off-price sale. * Conducts and provides analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) in relation to the inventory in Atlanta and the open orders status of the company. Assures timely and accurately release of the following reports and information. * Monitors product flows (Finished Product and Sample) from sources and provides visibility over future product availability. * Expand and adapt the headquarter technologies to the local market practices. * Design and execute the most effective supply chain in relation to specific needs of the customers, brands, or channels of trade. * Track and maximize supply chain key performance indicators an establish adhoc dashboards to share with corporate holding. * Work closely with the Finance department for the optimization of the supply cost and with the production department for the operational lead times. * Support the logistic team in ATL in maintaining and improving the allocation and delivery job schedule to ensure logistic cost efficiency. * Research backorder and out of stock issues and works with demand planning, corporate distribution and logistics to fill the gaps. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering * Minimum of 7 years of end-to-end supply chain experience, from demand planning to supply planning and production planning. * Strong leadership skills to establish clear direction, drive conversation and influence peers. * Robust statistical skills to handle a huge number of finished products, with short life cycle, high seasonality, and high risk of obsolescence. * Solid knowledge of multi-channel supply chain models, from e-commerce to brick-and-mortar business, from direct-to-store delivery to regional and national retailer's distribution centers * Strong knowledge of SAP, DPM, GPS to support the sales order-to-delivery process, the demand planning, the production planning. * Strong business acumen with an ability to anticipate risks and identify contingency plans to minimize disruption to the business.
