Grant Thornton is seeking a Manager to join its Enterprise Technology Services service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Manager will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
In support of IT Strategic Planning, the candidate shall provide expert advice, conduct and document broad based analyses, facilitation support and assessment of various IT initiatives to support ongoing strategic organizational planning and development. Tasks include but are not limited to:
a) Development of recommended metrics and strategies for implementing the strategic plan.
b) Conduct organizational and change management assessments.
c) Data collection, analysis and input.
d) Milestone planning recommendations and analysis.
f) Development of recommended feedback mechanisms and assessment of feedback results.
g) Development of related databases and websites.
h) Provide input, recommendations, facilitation and instructional services relating to planning and execution of results.
i) Provide knowledge transfer and guidance in support of a variety of mission-essential tasks, to include continuous productivity improvement, team building, communication skills, focus groups, inter-group development, customer service, and leadership development.
j) Survey preparation and feedback data collection and analysis.
k) Strategic communications around raising awareness of IT Strategy
l) Focus group/ off-site facilitation
Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.
IT strategic planning, executive meeting facilitation, strongwritten and oral communication skills, and Knowledge of Workforce Planning
Ability to obtain and maintaincertain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required.Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Coach and mentor junior staffmembers.
Ability to work overtime requiredon occasion.
Ability to sit in an officeenvironment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain asecurity clearance.
