IT Grid Operations Support
The IT Grid Operations team has the awesome opportunity to deliver on the corporate strategy for our integrated Grid and Customers. We maintain and build on an application portfolio that supports the enterprise GIS and Outage management systems. We serve customers with outage information on Web, Mobile, Voice and text.

Senior IT Project Manager
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of IT projects/teams, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function. You will utilize expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure project/team goals and requirements are met. May employ Agile techniques and project management practices.
In this role, you will partner with the scrum-master to understand and drive projects, manage a portfolio of projects to strategize resources and timelines, and deliver results. If you are someone with strong analytical and project/program management skills, problem solving skills and you can lead through ambiguity and change this may be the job for you. In addition, you will have excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering management or other related field or equivalent experience and eight or more years of experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of large- scale IT systems, with five or more years in a project management role. Experience in an Agile/Scrum software development environment highly desired. Certifications, Licenses and Training PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
What you will work on:
Project Management (PRMG) Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines). Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders, consistent with the methods in use (Agile, waterfall, etc.). Ensures quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets and are signed off. Provides effective leadership to the project team and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
Portfolio, Program and Project Support (PROF) Takes responsibility for the provision of portfolio, program and project support. Advises on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques. Evaluates project and/or program performance and recommends changes where necessary. Contributes to reviews and audits of project and program management to ensure conformance to standards.
Methods and Tools (METL) Promotes and ensures use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools.
Data Analysis (DTAN) Sets standards for data analysis tools and techniques, advises on their application and ensures compliance. Manages the investigation of corporate data requirements and coordinates the application of data analysis and data modelling techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of the corporate information requirements, in order to establish, modify or maintain data structures and their associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
Financial Management (FMIT) Advises on financial planning and budgeting. Develops financial plans and forecasts. Monitors and manages IT expenditure, ensuring that all IT financial targets are met, and examining any areas where budgets and expenditure exceed their agreed tolerances. Assists with the definition and operation of effective financial control and decision-making, especially in the areas of service, projects and component cost models and the allocation and apportionment of all incurred IT costs. Analyzes actual expenditure, explains variances and advises on options in use of available budget.
Business Process Improvement (BPRE) Analyzes business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility and recommends new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components. Evaluates the financial, cultural, technological, organizational and environmental factors which must be addressed in the change program. Establishes client requirements for the implementation of significant changes in organizational mission, business functions and process, organizational roles and responsibilities and scope or nature of service delivery.
Portfolio Management (POMG) Ensures that program/project leads and/or service owners adhere to the agreed portfolio management approach and timetable and that they provide the appropriate information to agreed targets of timelines and accuracy. Produces reports as appropriate for portfolio governance, including making recommendations for changes to the portfolio. Systems Development
Management (DLMG) Defines solution development projects which support the organization's objectives and plans. Ensures that senior management is both aware of and able to provide the required resources. Contributes effectively to improving solution development processes within the organization justified by measurable business benefits. Facilitates availability and optimum utilization of resources, especially in Agile projects. Monitors and reports on the progress of development projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures (including secure software development). Applies secure development improvement practices.
Program Management (PGMG) Plans, directs and coordinates activities to manage and implement a program from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage, including the transition into "business as usual"; plans, schedules, monitors and reports on activities related to the program. Ensures that programs are managed to realize business benefits and that program management is informed by an awareness of current technical developments.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering management or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typically, six or more years of experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of large-scale IT systems, with four or more years in a project management role.
one to two years' experience in IT portfolio or program management preferred.

Define tools & process improvements to support organizational excellence across IT Grid portfolio.
Work with product & application teams to build cohesive strategic roadmaps to support IT Grid Roadmap
Work across IT Grid Operations & cross functional IT teams to align critical strategic priorities, resource planning & to support operational excellence.
Develop & maintain communication plans to socialize alignment across IT Grid Operations portfolio.
Develops roadmaps and operational plans based on feedback from stakeholders and delivers all features and functionality across application platforms.
PMI Portfolio Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
