Senior IT Project Manager

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead and oversee complex IT projects, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of technology initiatives within our organization. With a wealth of experience in project management, you will manage cross-functional teams, define project scopes, create comprehensive project plans, and drive projects from initiation through to completion. Responsibilities include risk management, resource allocation, budget tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The role is also responsible for identifying and mitigating potential project risks and issues, while continuously improving project management processes and methodologies. The Senior IT Project Manager is a key leadership position, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of IT project management principles and best practices. A strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and provide strategic guidance will be essential in delivering successful IT projects that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

What we will ask you to do:

• Develop and implement project management policies, best practices, and standards across the organization.

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of large, complex projects.

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans while mitigating risk.

• Lead cross-functional project teams, including IT developers, business analysts, and subject- matter experts, to ensure that projects are delivered promptly and efficiently, delivering measurable business impact.

• Establish project plans, provide direction, and coordinate activities associated with installing, evaluating, and implementing IT project software and hardware.

• Conduct project analysis, evaluation, and execution and supports the implementation process.

• Assist the business units in developing appropriate training sessions, demos, and appropriate documentation.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Systems or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in IT-related projects.

• Experience with project management planning and tracking software such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Wrike, Basecamp, Jira, etc.

• Experience with project management methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kanban, Scrum, Agile.

• Excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
